where dose your money go?

where dose the money go?
our house hold money is tight .the break down of my budget :

200 a week x 4 =800 dollars this includes :
120 gas
100 other
60 me money
400 food /cleaning /personal
100 food storage

and those of you who read my blog understand how far you can stretch the money if needs be.
there have been many weeks where 20 is all i had for food .we did not starve.we ate very well .my children have gotten very happy eating beans and rice in fact we eat these items several times a week and the don't complain.i guess i am lucky,not to have picky kids .they know its better for you to eat fruits and veggies.we don't buy a lot of processed foods even if they are on sale.if they are cheap i will buy them for our local food bank.don't get me wrong we will eat it if we need to.i just feel the fresher less processed the better.look at the 1950's house wife ...she spent a little time to plan and made great meals that were balanced ...i know food gets me going.. i just feel a little love in the kitchen is what brings the family together:)
